In order to take the test on the designated transfer day, you must meet the vaccination and retest requirements listed below. You will not be able to commute to campus if you do not meet these requirements within the specified time frame.
Summit League Basketball Schedules Released
1) Upload your COVID-19 vaccination records and booster records as required by the California State University system, of which SDSU is a part, to HealtheConnect. For new students, your transcripts must be uploaded by the date of your new student's orientation. All new and returning students who are eligible for a COVID-19 booster must upload at least one booster record.
Vaccines against COVID-19 are required for all students except for those approved for exemption by the university.
2) Take a COVID-19 test within three (3) days of the specified transfer date and upload negative test results to HealtheConnect by the specified transfer date. The COVID-19 test can be a rapid test, including home tests, or a molecular (PCR) test. To download the results:

In addition to COVID-19 test results, which must be uploaded within three days prior to entry, all residents will receive an express COVID-19 test upon entry to SDSU. Students will be given instructions on how to self-administer the express test, which must be completed within one (1) hour of the test. Students who test positive during the on-site rapid test will be directed to self-isolate in accordance with the Office of Management's COVID-19 protocol, which complies with US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
Students will not be allowed to travel to campus during the transition period if they test positive for COVID-19 in a test taken within the three-day period or a rapid test taken prior to arrival. On campus or if they fail to upload proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
August 18 or 19: First-year students will receive an assignment for their transfer date either August 18 or 19 in an email sent on July 5th.
San Diego State University
Students are assigned a specific transfer date and check-in time based on their building assignment. Transfer date and check-in time will be moved to accommodate traffic. Transfer date assignments will be emailed to you on Sunday, July 5th. Wait to make travel plans until you have your move date.
During the week of August 1, you will receive an email with specific instructions on unloading, enrolling, and standing on your selected relocation day.
Hot pots and small appliances (including coffee makers and Keurings) are not permitted in first year rooms. Students can only use small appliances in the common kitchen.

No, a mini fridge (minimum fridge, freezer and microwave) is provided in every room for the first year. Students are not allowed to bring additional mini-fridges.
Bed sizes vary by building. Please wait for the assignment email (sent the week of July 5th) before purchasing bedding. The assignment email will include information about the building and bed size.

Sdsu Releases D&i Strategic Plan
Download the GET mobile app and upload a passport-style photo and an acceptable form of ID (see below) to your card by July 1, 2022 to be ready for your Orientation Day.
Get your card at check-in on the day of the orientation. If you do not attend an in-person orientation, the SDSUcard office will mail the card to your campus address by July 29, 2022 (international mail not included).
Acceptable forms of identification: US State ID, US Driver's License, US Passport, US Temporary Pictured Driver's License, US Law Enforcement ID, Department of Justice ID, Department of Homeland Security and Treasury ID.
Working Together To Improve Outcomes For All Black Children And Families
In support of sustainability initiatives, incoming new students who live on campus will not be allowed to drive a car during their first year at SDSU. To assist students who may have unique needs, first-year students with documented disabilities may be encouraged to apply for a waiver. For more information, visit the Parking Policy for First-Year Campus Residents.
Students who live in Aztec Corner, Granada, Piedra del Sol, and The Tecs can reserve parking in their residential community. Parking permits for the 2022-23 school year. The year will be available from July 1, 2022.
Students who live in Tepeyac, Tacuba, and Villa Alvarado can purchase an SDSU Student Night Parking Permit for on-campus parking facilities.

[email protected] Expat residents wishing to purchase a parking permit at [email protected] for the rental period from August 2022 to July 2023 should send an email to [email protected]. Single parking permits are $95.00 per month and tandem permits are $75.00 per month. Currently, only tandem passes are currently available, but residents can request to be added to the waiting list for individual passes by sending an email to the address above.
Bicycles: Covered storage for bicycles and surfboards is available on campus at no additional charge. Bike storage is available on a first-come-first-served basis. Effective August 8, please register your interest in bicycle storage using the bicycle storage form. After filling out the form, visit the bicycle storage tent on the way to collect the storage key. The bicycle storage tent at Kuikakali Promenade will be from 8am to 3pm. 18 and 19 August. You must register your bike with the University Police. Bicycles are prohibited in the apartments and suites.
Surfboards: Starting August 8, you can register your interest in a surfboard locker via our surfboard storage form. Skateboard lockers are delivered in tow. Surf boards can also be stored in the rooms.
American Indian Studies
Students are responsible for any damage to the residential communities. We encourage parents and families to contact your insurance provider to learn more about renters insurance options or to see if your current homeowner's policy covers your applicant.
If you are interested in purchasing renters insurance for your students, SDSU partners with GradGuard. GradGuard offers renters insurance in addition to protecting personal property, including electronics. GradGuard is $165.40 per year and includes the following: Submit the 2022-23 FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1st. After that, you will be able to view your financial aid information and "to-do list" through a new student portal called mi.SDSU. Eligible students can now see their eligibility for financial aid (if all required documents, if any, are submitted). Continuing students will be able to see their eligibility at the end of May.
Aztec Scholarships General Application (SDSU Online Scholarship Application Portal) is open from April 18, 2022 to August 5, 2022. The deadline for priority consideration is May 15, 2022. Late and incomplete applications will not be accepted. Join the educational webinars offered by the Student Finance Center (see dates below).
Th Grade Students Begin Middle School Transition Process
Submit a California Dream Act application for the 2022-23 school year. You'll be able to view your financial aid information and "to-do list" through a new student portal called mi.SDSU. Eligible students who do not have any items on their work list can now view their eligibility. Continuing students will be able to see their eligibility in mid/late May.
