Ku Academic Calendar Spring 2023 – The academic year is divided into two semesters: the fall semester (September to January) and the spring semester (February to June).

All faculties have a semester structure, except the Faculty of Science, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy and the Master's program in International Health. Here, courses are organized in a block structure where the study year (60 ECTS) is divided into four nine-week modules.

To welcome you and help you adapt to life as a student at the University of Copenhagen, we invite you to attend an introduction or meeting at the beginning of your stay. Attendance is an important step in starting college, so attendance is considered essential.

Korea University Study Abroad

The University of Copenhagen has 11 mentor/partner programs spread across six departments. The Mentor/Buddy Program aims to create a social network for international students and UCPH students through a variety of activities during the semester. You will also be paired with a UCPH intern or group of UCPH students and other interns. UCPH students will help you settle in during your stay in Denmark and introduce you to student life in Copenhagen. These programs are run by volunteers and we want you to be actively involved.

Please note that due to limited space, we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned a mentor/partner.

If you have forgotten your PIN, you should send an email to the Office of International Education and support int-admission@adm.ku.dk. We will send your PIN number back to your private email account as soon as possible.

When you enroll at the University of Copenhagen, you will be assigned a university email account. You will find information about this in your offer letter. The University will use this email address to contact you before and during your stay in Copenhagen, so be sure to check your account with the University of Copenhagen regularly.

You can access your email account by logging into KUnet using your student number and the PIN number assigned to you by the University of Copenhagen.

If you have forgotten your PIN number, you should send an email to the Office of International Education and sponsor inint-admission@adm.ku.dk. We will send your PIN number back to your private email account as soon as possible.

There is no way to forward your university email to an external email client. Instead, you must set up your personal email account to retrieve emails from your KUmail.

As a student at UCPH, you need a student ID. You can learn how to get a student ID on the UCPH IT website for students.

Now Enrolling For The 2022 23 School Year!

This card identifies you as a university student and you should remember to carry it with you when you register and take exams. The card can be used to access university facilities outside normal opening hours, for student discounts at bookstores, museums, theaters and more, and also as a library card.

You can lock your student ID on KUnet. Operations in KUnet are Danish. To lock your card, log into KUnet, Student Self-Service –> ID Card –> Check ID Card –> Tick the box and click 'Check Select'. A new student ID will be automatically generated within a few working days.

The University of Copenhagen curriculum is divided into three levels according to the 3+2+3 structure. This means three years for a bachelor's degree, two years for a master's degree, and three years of postgraduate study for a doctorate. Just a few degrees from this model.

At the University of Copenhagen, you will experience different types of education. Each program consists of lectures and tutorials. Some of these include student presentations and project work, and many include practical projects as well as laboratory and field work.

Students are assessed after taking one of the following exam types: written, written, oral or active participation. In addition, some courses may require successful written, oral or practical assignments during the course.

The University of Copenhagen uses the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), which defines a full study load as 60 ECTS per year. The number of credits for each course varies depending on the workload.

If you have a documented disability, such as an inability to take the exam at par with other students or complete the exam within a certain time, you can apply for an exemption:

Application for allocation must be submitted to the Faculty/University Board at UCPH. Before submitting your application, we recommend that you contact your university contact for advice about your options and the application process – for example, not all programs require you to apply for an exemption to receive an extended examination time.

At the University of Copenhagen, we will do everything we can to help and assist you, but there are some issues that we cannot provide solutions for at this time. If you need a helper/assistant, the university can help connect you with the right people. However, the University cannot bear the cost of Aadhaar. As a general rule, payment must be made in advance.

The term plagiarism refers to the unauthorized use of someone else's ideas; In other words, you edit when you pass off someone else's thoughts or ideas as your own or copy text that you didn't write yourself. You should always provide your own test work and provide appropriate references for all quotations, ideas and arguments from other sources.

When you submit an essay, you must include a solemn declaration with the essay. You make a solemn declaration directly on the digital test. You solemnly declare that your thesis has been written in accordance with the Student Disciplinary Measures of the University of Copenhagen and the rules of academic integrity set out in the General Examination Guidelines prepared by the Department of Sociology.

You have the right to appeal if you are not satisfied with the results of the test or the way the test was conducted. This appeal must be in writing (with reasons) and submitted using the Examination Appeal Form (found on KUnet). The results of the examination should be sent to the faculty/department in charge of the course within two weeks of despatch.

If you are registered at the University of Copenhagen and decide to extend your stay, you can apply for an extension of your registration.

You have to ask your university to send a confirmation letter that you can extend your stay as an exchange student to the International Education Office inint-admission@adm.ku.dk.

In addition, you should request that you wish to continue at the faculty of UCPH by sending confirmation that you can extend your stay to int-admission@adm.ku.dk.

Students from outside the EU/EEA should check that the processing time for application form ST3 for extension of residence permit is 3 months. The year is coming to an end and we want to share some information with you about the 2021-2022 school year at Alma!

Alma will continue to follow all Massachusetts guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Beginning this fall, distance learning will no longer be an option, according to state guidelines. We can't wait for you to join us again this fall, and we're especially looking forward to seeing those who can't be with us this spring.
