During the trial, the committee observed and heard from our community. His work is highly collaborative, drawing qualitatively and quantitatively from the perspectives of our faculty, students, and advisors across all schools and colleges, including undergraduate and graduate programs.
In light of all this, the organizers recommend continuing the 14-week semester trial next year and additionally including and evaluating a week's fall vacation. The purpose of this pilot extension is to implement all the committee's recommendations and evaluate their effectiveness before a final decision is made.

You have several options to consider when adapting a course from a 15-week format to a 14-week format. Participants will explore an effective and efficient menu of learning adjustments for young students to help explain Week 1 Deduction. In addition, participants will learn about techniques and techniques to make assessments more effective for you or your TA. Colleagues will discuss how best to implement this strategy and formulate an action plan.
The Chancellor will hold faculty listening sessions to discuss the 7x1x7 calendar pilot project on Wednesday, August 24th from 4:00pm to 5:00pm and Thursday, August 25th from 9:00am to 10:00am.
This session is for you to ask questions about the continuation of the trial and share feedback on its implementation.
