Cal State Northridge Academic Calendar 2023
Cal State Northridge Academic Calendar 2023 – The University Student Union (USU) is proposing a renovation and expansion project that includes the construction of a new 79,800-square-foot building and a 49,900-square-foot renovated space. The new space will have more living and working space, shaded outdoor seating, better dining options, event and meeting spaces, entertainment and game spaces, as well as a center for competition unity, intersection, social and environmental justice. The renovation includes renewing USU's interior and exterior spaces, meeting rooms, lounges and study spaces, and the student experience will be enhanced by centralizing student services and improving club and organization facilities. This new heart of the campus will positively impact student success and improve the quality of life for students on campus.
The increase will not take effect until the building is open and operational. The facility is expected to open for use in 2022-2023. The fee would increase by $125 for the semester starting in fall 2022. During the summer months, the value of students is 60% of the previous spring's USU fee. The above fee increase will be added to USU's 2022-2023 tuition, which is $316.00 per semester for fall and spring and $190.00 for summer.
